What Does a General Neurologist Do?

A general neurologist is a medical doctor who is trained in diagnosing and treating diseases and conditions of your brain, spinal cord and nerves. Similar to your primary care provider, a general neurologist will serve as the coordinator for your care, either treating the condition or referring to a specialist.
