Headache is a complex condition that can result from many different factors and, as a result, a variety of medications, procedures or therapies can be used. To best help patients, the Headache Center relies on a comprehensive and holistic approach to diagnosis and treatment.
This includes drawing on the expertise of providers in an array of disciplines and offering various services focused on coordinated, personalized care.
Care recommendations are reviewed in regular Headache Council meetings – the only such collaborative sessions in the country. Experts from all relevant disciplines attend and share insight to best help patients. This approach highlights the value of our institute model of care, bringing broad expertise to weigh in on each individual’s situation.
The Headache Center team includes providers who specialize in the specific causes of headache, such as hormonal changes in women. Also represented are experts in diverse types of treatment.
