Wound Care is essential for people living with chronic wounds. Hartford HealthCare’s Advanced Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Centers are located throughout the state of Connecticut. Our centers have specialized Wound Care Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, Nurses, and Clinical Support Staff that will be with you every step of the way on your Wound Healing Journey. Patients are seen weekly in an outpatient setting with appointments averaging 45-90 minutes. Based on your wound care needs, consultations with Vascular, Nutrition, and Home Health may be scheduled. We are able to provide comprehensive wound care and the most advanced treatment modalities through our partnership with Healogics™ Network, the world’s largest wound care management company and the nation’s leader for more than 20 years. Healogics is noted for excellent outcomes, including a 90% healing rate within the first 31 days, and high patient satisfaction.
At each of our centers, we offer large, clear hyperbaric oxygen chambers for the treatment of more aggressive, non-healing wounds. For patient comfort, each chamber has a TV with cable connections.
